Halloween Night right into Dia de Los Muertos. Hosted by David Raven, Tony Zamora and Billy Watts. This private club is so much fun we’ve decided this is the place to celebrate and we’re inviting our friends. Great intimate venue in a cool neighborhood with taco trucks, pizza joint, and cafés right there.

Dead Pirate themed costumes are encouraged (not required) and of course any Calavera/Muertos or nautical stuff would be fun.
It IS the yacht club after all.

Special invite to our songwriter friends, come down and play your songs backed by a great band. David Raven is organizing some special guests musicians starting with Billy Watts. This means Mojo Monkey songs are in the works! More TBA
Outdoor patio area under the yacht’s mast and great drink deals all night at the boat/bar.
Please respond to the invite early as space is very limited and it is a private club with a no host bar but NO COVER.
Best deal in town on Halloween and money back guarantee on the music.
Come on it’s a Saturday night, it’s Halloween, it’s free dammit.
Don’t miss this………….

Friday October 23rd, Saturday 24th 8:30 pm
Sunday 25th 7:30 pm
MILES MEMORIAL PLAYHOUSE
1130 Lincoln Blvd.
Santa Monica, Ca 90403

I’ve been hired on to perform for this production with Tremoloco members JR Lozano, Jeff Ross and bassist Vivi Rama performing the music for
Possession: The Legend of El Rojo

Los Angeles Rock Opera Company presents
PUSH PLAY 3
Push Play 3 is a sampling of the Company’s projects currently in development at the Miles Playhouse in Santa Monica on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 23, 24, and 25. Directed and choreographed by Janet Roston, Push Play 3 pulsates with an eclectic evening of live music, theatre and dance that illustrates the mission of LAROC’s Artistic Directors, Mark Governor and Janet Roston to produce innovative, contemporary Rock Opera that represents the cultural and ethnic diversity in our community while illuminating our shared world history. Included in the evening’s performance are two works in development, Anais, A Dance Opera and Possession: The Legend of El Rojo.

Anais, A Dance Opera, written and composed by Cindy Shapiro, utilizes dance, music, and projections to explore prolific diarist, proto-feminist, and sexual adventurist Anais Nin’s emergence as an important and influential literary figure through her explosive relationship with novelist Henry Miller. Initially Nin and Miller found they shared an extraordinary passion for the written word. As the affair unfolded Miller’s support enabled Nin to uncompromisingly express, through her writing, her emotions and sexuality. Six dancers and vocalist Cindy Shapiro present the profound and powerful story of Nin’s relationship with her banker husband Hugh Guiler, her lover Henry Miller and their life with the cultural giants of 1930’s Paris. The Anais Nin Trust has given the production access to the Nin archives and in addition is being advised by the foremost Nin scholar, Paul Herron.

Possession: The Legend of El Rojo, written by Mark Governor and Marc Sambola, incorporates folklore and iconic characters to create a timeless tale of love, betrayal and redemption all centered on the power of a mysterious red guitar. Carlos, a poor young man passionately longs to marry Carina who refuses him. Desperate for her love, he follows the instructions of the mysterious Senor Rico and falls under the curse of the enchanted guitar, “El Rojo.” This compellingly fresh Spanish style folktale is a magical exploration of the depths to which one man will go to win a woman’s love all told through music, song, and dance lead by a live gypsy guitar and band. Possession is an international collaboration between Los Angeles based composer Governor and Barcelona composer Sambola.

The composers of both pieces along with director Janet Roston share the belief that music, song and dance transcend borders and cultures to create a common human experience.

Special guests of LAROC will round out the evening with vocal performances from rock operas in development.

Tickets are only $12 and are available through brownpapertickets.com or by clicking this link:

Join Tremoloco and guests as they examine connections between different musical genres such as Folk, Country, Irish, Gulf Coast and Mexican music. They’ll explore the music, it’s respective culture and their commonalities.

Tony Zamora along with singer songwriter Rick Shea headline this special concert.

Rick Shea was an obvious choice for this one, his songs reflect the folk, country, rock and Mexican influences he grew up with. On his songwriting influences Shea says, “Merle Haggard cast a long shadow when I was younger, but since then Dave Alvin, Jim Ringer and a lot of other music has found its way in.” A “lot of other music” often includes Mexican and Irish influences like the songs “Mexicali Train” and “John Shea from Kenmare” from his latest release.

Mexican and Irish? Yes believe it or not there is a connection both musically and culturally. To demonstrate they’ll play some traditional songs on traditional instruments for both the Irish and Mexican stuff. They’ll also include Country, Honky Tonk, Gulf Coast music, Folk and the California inspired music and songs from both Tremoloco and Rick Shea’s latest releases.

Special guests among others will include L.A.’s “Ambassador of Irish music and culture” Dublin native Ken O’Malley and multi instrumentalist Alex Martinez who will join them for an eclectic and fun afternoon of music.

Ken O’Malley needs no introduction to the Irish music community. He’s spent more than thirty years in Los Angeles so his perspective on the “Grandaddy” of roots music is both authentic and genuine. He’ll offer his own take on California Irish music, put things in a historical context and include a song about the “Santo Patricio Brigade” c.1846-48. An Irish/Mexican connection if ever there was one.

Alex Martinez from The Moonlight Trio originators of a unique blend called “Cumbiabilly” capture the sound and essence of Southern California playing a mix of old school Rock & Roll, Cumbia, Tex-Mex and traditional Mexican music performed with a rockabilly twist. He will lend his considerable skills as a guitarist and along with Tony will play traditional Mexican folk instruments.

As a whole they’ll offer their usual eclectic mix of roots and Cali/Mex music. They’ll also play new songs from an upcoming Tremoloco release including a folk tune based on a woman’s need to flee her homeland during The War of 1812 titled “Tecumseh’s War and a new Honky Tonk number about love, music, the road and aging tentatively titled “Alberta Bound”.

All of these musicians are Tremoloco alumni and have worked together for years. Tony was an original member of Kens’ band The Twilight Lords and all of them have toured together and/or played on each other’s CDs. They look forward to this show and the chance to play together (schedules have never allowed for this particular line-up so come see what happens).

It’s a lot to cover in one afternoon but these amazing musicians will give it their best which certainly means you true music lovers are in for a great time.
A don’t miss show and as seating is VERY limited please make reservations early.

Blue Chair Café
9624-76 Ave
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada T6C 0K3
A very special show and a chance to play in an intimate semi-acoustic setting where we will lean on our folk side, include some trad Mexican folk stuff and of course play our normal mix of roots music.

Great new venue for us run by smart music friendly people. We love playing in Edmonton so we’ll be looking forward to this. The Blue Chair Cafe was born in 2005, a product of the marriage of a passion for food and music. The owner, Harold Wollin, is a red seal chef, and a musician at heart.
The room struck a chord immediately, hitting En Route Magazine’s Top 100 Canadian restaurants the first year. Our unique blend of live music, food and ambience continues to rate us with the best in the country.
The “Chair” grew from a humble little restaurant with a tiny stage into one of Canada’s premier live music venues. Many of Canada’s best music acts have graced the stage, but we have never lost sight of Edmonton’s own vibrant music scene. Although we pride ourselves as a “listening room” on most nights your conversations are allowed to continue as long as they don’t interfere with your neighbors.
Be warned that for some shows your full attention will be expected.

Cinco De Mayo Party/Dance Concert
The Ranch at Laguna Beach
(formerly Aliso Creek Inn and Golf Course)
31106 S.Coast Highway
Laguna Beach, CA 92651

This is our Cinco De Mayo gig at an amazing venue in a beautiful setting, this should be a lot of fun. We’re expecting a good California Beach crowd to celebrate with us and we have a great line-up including Tony Zamora, Cougar Estrada, Johnny “Vatos” Hernandez, Rick Shea and Paul Cartwright with special guest TBA. Beautiful outdoor venue with great food, dancing and our usual mix of Mexican Americana roots music to add to the fun.

A local resort icon re-imagined has been where the verdant canyons converge to meet the beach. Enjoy our beautifully appointed and locally designed coastal ranch inspired rooms and suites (Currently closed for renovations). All with relaxing natural vistas of the towering canyon walls, a short walk from the beach and minutes from downtown. Other amenities include Laguna Beach’s only golf course, full service Spa, both indoor and outdoor restaurants and unmatched event venues.

The story of the Aliso Creek Inn & Golf Course is legendary in Laguna Beach. In 1871, George and Sarah Thurston laid claim to a 152-acre homestead and a one-room wood shack at the south end of the Aliso Canyon. The Thurston’s were one of five families who originally settled the coastal area later to be called Laguna Beach. Historians note at that time, the canyon was barren and the countryside wild and desolate. The Thurston’s planted fruit trees and vegetables to sell to local marketplaces and lived on the site for the next 50 years.

In the late 1940’s, William “Bill” Bryant purchased an approximate 83-acre site within Aliso Canyon and began construction of the golf course. The 9-hole golf course was opened to the public in September 1950. Ownership changed again in 1956 when Ben Brown purchased what was named the “Laguna Beach Country Club” and began plans for a new destination resort. A plan was submitted and unanimously approved by the County of Orange for a 10-story hotel unit, 80 guest lodges, a special event pavilion, a larger clubhouse and restaurant, swimming pools, tennis courts, and other recreational space.

In 1961, Dorothy and Charles opened the Golden Ring, a music cafe (coffee house) in Claremont. It was one of the earliest venues for folk music in the Southern California area, bringing such greats to Claremont as the Reverend Gary Davis, Brownie McGee and Sonny Terry, Doc Watson, Jean Ritchie, Hedy West, John Fahey, the New Lost City Ramblers, Kris Kristofferson, and Guy and Candy Carawan. The Folk Music Center Museum was opened in 1976 as a non-profit educational, cultural corporation. The first museum collection was a Stauffer guitar and a Stauffer Theorbo, both dating back to the 1880′s, that Charles and Dorothy found in a second hand store for five dollars. The Museum now contains rare and antique musical instruments and artifacts of culture from around the world.

Boomers 1

Friday June 7th 2013
Boomers Saloon
45020 N. Hwy 101
Laytonville, CA
We play this fine old establishment and have our friend DJ Danny G on board with us. All this is happening as the Official Kick-Off Party for the Laytonville Rodeo/Redwood Run weekend. This will be crazy fun and we’ll lean on our Rockin Honkey Tonk side for sure but will give it our Tex_Mex/Cajun/Mexican Americana mix as well.

The large gold letters that spell out BOOMER’s at the north end of Laytonville mark the location of one of the most luxurious watering holes on Redwood Highway 101. The original Boomer’s was built by Frank “Boomer” and Martha May Kelton in 1931 and was a working man’s bar and rough house. “Boomer” is a logging term referring to a man who doesn’t stay long on any job; generally three days to three weeks. One who works just long enough to get a liquor stake and the “wrinkles out of his belly.” It is a fitting name for this fine establishment.

Friday February 3rd 2012 8:00 PM
Cafe 322
322 West Sierra Madre Blvd.
Sierra Madre, CA 91024

ATTENTION GUITAR FREAKS, PLAYERS AND FANS:
We have a very special guest, master guitarist Jerry Donahue.
I was lucky enough to have worked with him playing Irish folk some years ago and he’ll be doing this show with us prior to returning to England.
Jerry will play on some Tremoloco stuff as well performing several of his own signature tunes. Jerry Donahue

We’ll have Cougar Estrada (Los Lobos) on drums Cougar Records, guitarist Bob Robles and probably some other guests.
Please don’t miss the opportunity to see one of the greats in this intimate atmosphere, up close and personal.
Reservations are strongly recommended, call (626) 836-5414

Feeling at home in the US as well as in the UK, Donahue musically draws from influences of both countries like Celtic music, rock, blues and country. Technically, Donahue mostly plays in fingerpicking or hybrid picking style with his right hand.
However, his left hand technique made him famous among guitar players: Since his first encounter with guitarists Gerry McGee and Amos Garrett as a teenager, Donahue was fascinated by and eventually mastered the technique of string “bending”. Telecaster player Danny Gatton praised him as “the string-bending king of the planet”.
After moving to England, Donahue soon became a respected member of the developing British folk rock scene. As a band member, he played with Poet And The One Man Band, Fotheringay and Fairport Convention. Later he recorded and/or toured with artists such as Joan Armatrading, Gerry Rafferty, Robert Plant, Elton John, The Proclaimers, Johnny Hallyday, George Harrison, Cliff Richard, Chris Rea, Warren Zevon, Bonnie Raitt, Hank Marvin, Roy Orbison, Nanci Griffith, The Beach Boys and The Yardbirds. In 1990 he founded the guitar trio The Hellecasters with Will Ray and John Jorgenson. They recorded several instrumental albums and frequently toured in the 1990s and early 2000s. Donahue has released instructional videotapes and more recently has produced solo projects including Sandy Denny’s Gold Dust (1998) and The Animals’ Instinct (2004) as well as finishing the second album by his short-lived Folk rock band Fotheringay in 2008.

The Holiday season is here and despite our tendency for a “Humbug’ attitude WE’RE BACK after a couple of months for our very last roots music show of the year.
It’s been a whole lot of fun and we’ve had some amazing performances in 2011, how time flies!
Tony Zamora, Bob Robles, Rick Shea, Johnny Vatos, JR Lozano, David Raven, Aubrey Richmond, Jeff Ross, Jim Shirey, Andy Abad and the rest of us want to thank all those who’ve attended and made it such a successful run for us.
And many thanks to all the artists/special guests who graced our stage this past year with very special thanks going out to Mario Lalli and Cafe 322 for giving us such an incredible venue to host this monthly event.

We’re planning a great show on December 3rd w/ special guests
“The Country” featuring members of the electro-cult band Gram Rabbit with some fresh-faced cowboys along for this trippy ride. Performing all original western, space country echoing from the Joshua Tree desert.

A great deal in these trying economic times especially with the holidays rapidly approaching.

OCTOBER/FALL PARTY @ CAFE 322
w/ TREMOLOCO, YAWNING MAN and ELECTRIC LANDLADY

Fall is here and we are rocking out, something different for this first Saturday. We have two other bands on the bill.
So though we love our roots music and always will we have two amazing fun and loud bands.
Yawning Man & Electric Landlady
We’ll do the first set and this time we go electric and include some of the rock influences we grew up with as well as our regular Tremoloco fare revved up. This will be a lot of fun and for us rocking out now and again is a good thing.
We won’t return to our Roots Music shows until December so this is a last chance to catch us @ Cafe 322 for while. Come on out, we start at 8:00 and have the early slot and stick around for a rockin’ good time.

TREMOLOCO @ 8:00 PM SHARP

YAWNING MAN @ 9:30 PM

Yawning Man was born in 1986, originally founded by members Gary Arce, Alfredo Hernández, Mario Lalli, and Larry Lalli. At this time, the band started to play marathon jams from the garage to the desert. The word spread of these ‘generator parties’, and all kinds of people would show up. Their music heavily influenced the likes of John Garcia, Josh Homme, and Brant Bjork to name only a few; who would later form the legendary stoner rock band Kyuss. When Hernandez played in Kyuss on their last album ‘…And the Circus Leaves Town’ they even recorded a cover of Yawning Man’s song “Catamaran”.
“ Yawning Man was the sickest desert band of all time. You’d just be up there in the desert, everybody’d just be hanging, partying. And they’d show up in their van and just, mellow, drag out their shit and set up right about the time the sun was goin’ down, set up the generators, sometimes they’d just go up there and drink beers and barbecue. Sometimes it would be a scene; sometimes it would be very intimate. It was very casual and loose and everybody would like, while they’re playing, everyone would just lounge around. They were kinda like a house band. It wasn’t militant like Black Flag. It was very drugged, very stone-y, it was very mystical. Everyone’s just tripping, and they’re just playing away, for hours. Oh, they’re the GREATEST band I’ve ever seen.- Brant Bjork (2002) [1]

ELECTRIC LANDLADY~ 10:30 PM

Featuring Vincent Hidalgo
Electric Landlady is a new group from Vincent Hidalgo (The Drips, Mariachi El Bronx, Bullet Treatment, The Villains, Los Lobos, Spinnerette and bassist with the Dave Hidalgo, Louie Perez acoustic shows)
There is no way to predict exactly what’ll come from this outfit but a good, rocking time is guaranteed.
Please come on out for this special show and as always No Cover and reservations recommended for dinner/preferred seating. Call 626 836-5414

Summer is fading fast and we only have a couple left of our Roots Music Series this year. Thanks to everyone for supporting and making them so much fun and to all our musical guests as well for bringing their talents to our monthly event.

This month for a change we feature our band with regulars:
Oingo Boingo drummer Johnny Vatos, amazing guitarist Bob Robles, pianist Jim Shirey and special guest the extraordinary guitarist Jeff Ross. It’s a night of Tremoloco’s own eclectic slant on roots music and I’ll probably try some newer songs from the the upcoming record.
We may also get Jeff (and Bob) to do some Gypsy Jazz which is just one of his specialties and maybe a song from Jim and of course something from Vatos and any surprise musical guests who come in to join us.

Also on the bill is the lovely and talented Tatiana Prophet, a singer/songwriter and interpreter of always well chosen songs who has been gracing L.A. area stages as of late and is always a crowd favorite. She joins our band as well and we have some cool things in store for you with Tatiana on vocals. You don’t want to miss this.
As always call to reserve for dinner and/or preferred seating.

Here we go again featuring two very special guests this month
Please come on out and don’t forget to make reservations
626 836-5414
No cover but for preferred seating/dinner just give the club a call
Thanks to everyone for making these shows so much fun:
Phil Parlapiano
Growing up in Los Angeles
Phil first toured with folk icon Joan Baez to
support her Live in concert: Europe release.
As the tour progressed, his talent led him to
being named musical director. Next came a nine year stint with John Prine, appearing on the Grammy award winning release The Missing Years and co-writing “Leave the Lights On”
for the CD Lost Dogs and Mixed Blessings.
In 1993, Phil was asked to play on the Rod Stewart’s Unplugged and Seated album. Parlapiano continued to work in the studio with the likes of Jon Bon Jovi, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Lowen and Navarro, Alanah Myles, Iris Dement, Carlene Carter, and Jude Cole.
As the new millennium began, Phil started to tour with Americana artist, Lucinda Williams. This led to a
featured spot on the Martin Scorsese documentary,
The Blues as well as a VH1 Crossroads program backing up Elvis Costello. As 2003 rolled around, Parlapiano joined the Let It Rain tour with Tracy Chapman,
concluding with the well-known Austin City Limits
program. Phil then toured and recorded with punkers
Social Distortion, and is featured on the soundtrack Lords of DogTown. Most recently, Parlapiano was
featured on John Prine’s Fair and Square which earned the Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album.

AND…….Karina Nistal
Singer/songwriter Karina Nistal is known to align herself with diverse and solid collaborations to showcase her extensive range. Her work consists of emotive jazz vocals , rapping in Spanish for the worldly sounds of reggaeton, or fusing soulful Latin vocals with lively dance music. Most significantly, it is a vibrant charisma that carries over her poetic musings in either English or Spanish.

Music captivated the native Houstonian at an early age. Karina indulged in old school hip hop, rhythm & blues, soul and jazz. It was Karina’s mixed Hispanic heritage (Mexican and Cuban) that spotlighted Latin styles-traditional mariachi folk music and the Afro-Cuban beats of salsa.
Karina earned the Houston Press “Local Rap/Hip Hop Award for 2007” and the “Best Latin Contemporary Award for 2008” and nominated again for “Best Latin Contemporary Award” for 2009 and again in 2010.
Her sophomore album, Nistalgia (independent) was recently released October 2010. This album showcases a more soulful side of Karina along with some of her best songwriting. Nistalgia includes songs with her band ranging from Latin, Hip Hop, Reggae, and Bossanova.
With seemingly a lot on her plate, the sultry, multi-faceted vocalist admits, “I want to do so much more!”

THE RIPTIDE

Saturday July 16th 2011
The Riptide (415) 681-8433
3639 Taraval Street
Ocean Beach/San Francisco 94116
The Riptide is the Bay Area’s best little honky-tonk. It was built in 1941 and has the look and feel of a small town lodge. In addition to rustic brick flooring and high ceilings, the original knotty pine walls and raging fireplace add warmth you can feel as soon as you step inside.
We love this little joint right near the water in Ocean Beach, we had so much fun last time

We continue our Roots Music series yet again with Special Guest
Mark “Pocket” Goldberg” Mark “Pocket” Goldberg

His latest recording is simply outstanding so I’m putting my fellow bass player/songwriter on our showcase spot as it’s so well deserved. His band includes some of my favorite players in L.A. including Debra Dobkin whom among tons of credits was in the earliest version of Tremoloco (Tremoloca?)
She’s currently with Richard Thompson. We plan on some surprise guests and having Mark and Debra play with us (they know our songs).

So once again please make reservations (it’s so much easier than standing around waiting for a table) and we really look forward to another evening of great music. Here’s a little more about Mark.

Mark “Pocket” Goldberg’s new cd “Off The Alleyway” showcases his Americana songwriting at its natural best. Featuring twelve all-original tunes artfully co-produced with band mates Debra Dobkin (Bonnie Raitt & Richard Thompson) and Nick Kirgo (Les McCann & Nels Cline) Off The Alleyway” moves along smoothly through influences that echo the roots of Blues, Folk, Soul and Good Ole Rock ‘n’ Roll featuring Pocket’s unique vocals (which have been described as Howlin’ Wolf & Johnny Cash meet Randy Newman & Leonard Cohen at the Annual Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong Bar-B-Que Picnic), but you’ll have to listen for yourself because his voice is truly his own.
For decades now, Mark “Pocket” Goldberg has been a respected “Roots” Bass player (upright & electric) who has had the honor of making music with some of the most talented artists of his day including: Mick Fleetwood’s Blue Whale (with Joe Walsh & John Mayall) Floyd Dixon (with Roscoe Gordon & Charles Brown) Willie Dixon (with Luther Tucker & Cash McCall) Finis Tasby (with John Lee Hooker & Lowell Fulsom) Barry Goldberg (with Mick Taylor & Terry Reid) Buddy Guy & Junior Wells (with Al Duncan) Canned Heat (with Harvey Mandell & Junior Watson) Screamin’ Jay Hawkins (with Mike Keneally & Bo Diddley, Jr.) Joey Bonamassa (with Stephen Stills & Earl King), James Intveld (with Jay Dee Maness & Eddie Perez) Rosie Flores (with Greg Leisz & Skip Edwards)

Saturday June 4th 2011 8:00-11:30 PM
Cafe 322
322 West Sierra Madre Blvd.
Sierra Madre, Ca 91024
We continue our Roots Music Night series presented by Cafe 322 with a very special show.
Each month we feature guest artists showcasing some of the best in roots music.
June brings one of our favorite bands The Mojo Monkeys.
We’ve been trying for this show from the beginning so don’t miss this one.
Three musicians who have backed up Lucinda Williams, Keith
Richards, Norah Jones, Dwight Yoakum, Bonnie Raitt, MIke Ness,
Eric Burdon etc.
Stellar players, each with his own unique style, collide in a musical
gumbo deeply rooted in the Louisiana bayou, but eclectic and and fearlessly adventurous. Their songs are soulful and authentic, with funny, provocative lyrics. Mojo Monkeys
A rare one you should not miss, it will be a night of great music.
For this one we definitely urge you to make reservations for preferred seating/dinner, there is NO COVER but good tables go fast. Call 626 836-5414

Sierra Madre, Ca 91024
We continue our Roots Music Night series presented by Cafe 322 with a very special show.
Each month we feature guest artists showcasing some of the best in roots music.
This month we’ve outdone ourselves with two amazing guests.
It’s the one and only John “Juke” Logan, he got his nickname by playing Little Walter’s harmonica-instrumental gem, “Juke,” incessantly. Juke’s worked with countless musical trendsetters, such as Ry Cooder, Albert Collins, Leon Russell, Willie Dixon, Los Lobos and The Pleasure Barons with Dave Alvin and Country Dick Montana. He’ll be promoting his latest release “Twist-O-Letzz” recorded with Rick Holmstrom and Stephen Hodges. One of my favorite recordings this year and it will be an honor to back him up for this show.
John Juke Logan
Also on the bill from Palm Desert Sean Wheeler & Zander Schloss. Based on the resumes of vocalist Sean Wheeler (Throw Rag) and multi-instrumentalist Zander Schloss (Circle Jerks, the Weirdos, Joe Strummer), you’d expect a rambunctious sound emanating from the Legendary Duo, but you’d be wrong. The twosome plays a hybrid of folk, country, pop, ragtime, bluegrass and gospel that includes all the frenzied energy and spirit of the duo’s aforementioned bands, but is executed with a soulful dash of Americana charm not often heard west of the Mississippi. sean wheeler zander schloss

What a way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo weekend.
We open for the one and only Texas Tornados. Such an honor to be asked as “special guests” to be a part of this show with this legendary band. Nick’s Taste of Texas has a long standing reputation as a home away from home for Tejano/Tex-Mex luninaries going back many years. First time I ever saw Doug Sahm, Flaco live was at the original Nick’s. His son continues the tradition bringing the Texas Tornados in for their only L.A. appearance. We get to be there, shouldn’t you?
