Yep we’re headed back to Alberta for some very special shows. It’s the first time in many years we didn\u2019t make the summer touring season but we\u2019ll be there before end of year with something just for our Canadian friends.<\/p>\n We’ve done several workshops this year and we wanted to incorporate some of that into these Dia De Los Muertos shows.<\/p>\n We’ll give an overview of what informs us musically. A bit of history, storytelling and some of the styles and instruments of the music we grew up with. \nWe’ve been holding off on gigs as of late finishing up new record and looking forward to next years touring and shows in support of.
\nWell here is some fun news:
\nGoing on a promotional junket to the Gulf Coast,
\nHouston, San Antonio, Lafayette, hopefully Bay Saint Louis Mississippi and ending in New Orleans<\/strong> with some dear friends for New Years Eve. Also hope to catch up with The Iguanas on their home turf, great band.
\nWe’ll be visiting radio people and some press in all these cities which Tremoloco have played. Armed with promo copies of the new recording I’m very excited to start getting feedback working up to the release in 2017.
\nAlso looking forward to visiting all my friends in the region especially in Houston.
\nI’m sure in addition to some radio stuff I’ll do some playing with the boys.

\n4) Music: Jose Luis Orozco (Grammy Nominated) & members of Quetzal (Grammy Winning) will present a children\/family music program. Two 45-minute sets.
\n5) Storyteller: Born and raised in East Los Angeles, artist, activist and writer Vibiana Aparicio-Chamberlin will be telling stories of family Mexican folk tales.
\n6) Members of Ballet Folkl\u00f3rico de Los \u00c1ngeles. This young dance company has already distinguished itself as the nation\u2019s premier Mexican folk dance company.
\n8) Food vendors: Local food vendors and restaurants will supply plenty of tasty Latino favorites along with drinks and desserts.
\n9) Second Saturday [our monthly music entertainment series] begins at 6:30 that evening. The Band will be Tremoloco! The Altadena Ale House will sell Mexican beers and Spanish wines and a wine-based Margarita. Local favorites, El Patron and Sweeter Than Honey, will be on board for food for the evening.<\/p>\n
