Instruments, bands, young musicians and rehearsals were always present as his older siblings were part of the 1960\u2019s East L.A. music scene. This was the same era that fostered Cannibal and the Headhunters, Little Willie G. &amp; Thee Midniters and Los Lobos among others. This led to various Houston bands playing with local favs Umbrellaman and Johnny Falstaff among others, ultimately fronting his own Tex_Mex Punk band Mas Pulpo. His journeyman work began as a four year stint with local legends Los Skarnales and included tours with Los Lobos, Sisters Morales, John Dee Graham and finally partnering with L.A. Roots music band Tremoloco for several albums and tours.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Jeffrey P. Ross<\/h2>\n<p>Los \u00c1ngeles, Ca<br \/>\nJeff Ross, is a veteran virtuoso who delivers dazzling live performances and an in demand studio player.<br \/>\nHe has played with the Bellamy Brothers, Rose Maddox, Royal Crown Revue, Candye Cane, Lefty Frizzell, The Hot Club of Los Angeles, James Harman, Nick Curran, Rank and File, Rosie Flores, Kelly Willis, The Hellecasters and Sonny Boy Terry among many others.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Cougar Estrada<\/h2>\n<p>Camarillo, California<br \/>\nGrammy nominated artist has played and\/or recorded with Randy Newman, Robert Plant, Neil Young, Doyle Bramhall, Rickie Lee Jones, Marc Ribot, Los Super Seven, Latin Playboys and a ten year stint with Los Lobos including tours, TV appearances and recording on several of their albums.<br \/>\nHe has produced two of TREMOLOCO\u2019S releases and played on others.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Johnny &#8220;Vatos&#8221; Hernandez<\/h2>\n<p>Los Angeles, California<\/p>\n<p>Started playing drums in middle school. First band was called the \u201cAdventures\u201d all \u201cVentures\u201d music. Through High School played everything, Dance Band, and Jazz were favorites. Friday morning Pep Bands, chamber orchestra, school plays.<\/p>\n<p>Started early road career at seven-teen with the USO. By nineteen could read music, played in big bands, (LACC Studio Jazz band, Si Zetner Big Band) and pit orchestras.<br \/>\nWith Steve Bartek hired to play on bizarre film called the \u201cThe Forbidden Zone\u201d, Danny Elfman&#8217;s first film.<br \/>\nAsked to join \u201cThe Mystic Nights of the Oingo Boingo\u201d. The early band was a full multi media extravaganza, complete with costume changes, Gamelan music, West African balaphone music and bizarre film interludes. After two years of that we dropped all the props and became \u201cOingo Boingo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFood For Feet\u201d around \u201983 or \u201984. A power house rock trio with Mike Tovar and John Avila.<\/p>\n<p>Started working with Tito Larriva of \u201cThe Plugz\u201d, asked to work on the \u201cCulture Clash TV Show\u201d. 1995 joined \u201cTito and Tarantula\u201d.
